The Parlor is the newest addition to The North Star Hotel, just recently opened. Serving 7 days a week from 7am The Parlor is perfect for light and healthy breakfast options, gourmet lunch sandwiches and fresh homemade baked delights throughout the day prepared by our resident pastry chef. From 6pm ‘til late The Parlor offers an extensive selection of premium cocktails.
Meet our Pastry Chef
Lais is 26 years old and was born and raised in Brazil, where she had the opportunity to live in a couple of different cities and learn different cultures and gastronomy. Lais grew up sitting on the corner of the kitchen watching her mother and grandmother cooking lovely dishes and telling great stories about nona Maria, her Italian great-grandmother, and her amazing cooking skills. Lais was only 7 years old when she made a cake by herself for the first time and it didn't take her long until she was in love with the wooden spoon.
Lais has been living in Dublin since 2014 and after many years having baking as her favourite hobby, decided to make a career of it. Lais was previously working for Clodagh Mckenna at Clodagh's Kitchen and Homemade at Arnotts.
